School Teams Formation

Is it a must for the school team to be made up by students of different gender or grade?

We encourage students of different background to form a mixed team to join the competition. School team can be made up by different gender or grade, SEN students, ethnic minorities students and underprivileged students. We prefer
AT LEAST 2 STUDENTS IN THE TEAM ARE FROM DIFFERENT BACKGROUND for maximum iSTEAM experience.

Can I change members if one of my students have to be absent on the competition days?

No. To ensure the fairness of the competition as well as a complete learning experience for all participants, no students can replace the participants stated in the team list.

Any prior robotic knowledge needed for the school team?

Students and teachers who do not have knowledge and experience in robotics are welcome to join our competition. School teams do not need to prepare in advance.

Dates Selection of Workshop and Competition

Are the Workshop and Competition  whole day events?

Yes. The Workshop and Competition will be a 2-day event. All school teams have to attend both the Workshop and the Competitions on 20 and 21 April 2024. 

Fee

When do we have to pay the Administrative Fee?

School teams should pay the Administrative Fee (HKD500 per team) AFTER they successfully enrolled in the competition. No other fees needed after paying the administrative fee.
